About this event
Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals. From minor scrapes and stitches to major surgeries and emotional scars, these two navigate their physical mishaps and deep-seated vulnerabilities together.
Pulitzer nominee Rajiv Joseph’s dark comedy and deeply moving romance explores whether pain brings us closer together or pushes us apart. Raw, funny, and unforgettable, Gruesome Playground Injuries is a testament to the strange, beautiful ways we heal (and hurt) the people we love.
