About this event

We’re celebrating all the hard work that is going on in Fort Collins concerning climate action – and we want YOU to be a part of it!

On Tuesday, November 10th the Fort Collins City Council will hold a work session with updates on our Zero Waste Progress and Our Climate Future .

Recently, new yard waste policies and the Composting Pilot Program have made huge steps forward in organics diversion for Northern Colorado.

This is what climate action looks like at the community level. But we’ve got more work to do, and the wheels are turning!

To celebrate, we’re inviting you to WEAR PINK and show up from 5 PM to 6 PM outside city hall to enjoy a corn dog with us – compliments of the Queen.

We’ve got our friends at Corndoggies picking a totally legal parking spot near city hall, slinging dogs to all the concerned climate citizens in the city donning the color of the Queen.

While supplies last, limit one dog or so per person, keep it civil and no sword fighting with corn dog sticks – please.

You can watch the live stream of city council meetings and work sessions here .
