Want to wow friends and family this holiday season? Join us for a fun evening and learn tips and tricks for decorating cookies like a pro.

Students will learn the basics decorating cookies using royal icing, including how to fill and use a piping bag. We will practice on parchment paper so you can get the hang of the various techniques. Each student will also receive a handout outlining techniques discussed, plus a materials list and cookie recipes.

• Materials Provided:

- Royal icing

- Piping bag and assorted tips for use in class

- Sprinkles to enhance your decorations

• Optional:

- Your own cookies to decorate

- Special sprinkles

Allergy notification: We will be using royal icing which is made using meringue powder, powdered sugar, water, and almond extract. Students may be bringing cookies containing gluten and other allergens.

**Teens are welcome to join this class with a paying adult! 12+ years

Sarah of @sarah_winter_studio creates sewn goods with a focus on reducing textile waste, turning materials into beautiful and useful pieces like eye-catching rope baskets, mini quilts, and bags. She also creates unique cards and artwork using flowers primarily grown locally or right in her own garden. Her work brings together thoughtful design, sustainability, and a love of the natural world.

Each Radish class offers one solidarity ticket at a greatly reduced rate, in order to offer greater financial accessibility. This ticket is for Black/Indigenous/PeopleOfColor folks, solo parents, folks with medical debt, etc. No questions asked. Limit to one solidarity ticket per month- because if someone is able to purchase multiple solidarity tickets per month, they should be consolidating that into one full price ticket.

All workshop purchases are subject to our refund policy: a 50% refund is available until 48 hours before workshop. No refund is available within 48 hours of workshop start time. If a workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be notified 24 hours before via email.
