Snow Days - Outdoor Economy Career Pathways Panel

About this event

The Outdoor Economy Career Pathways Panel introduces students to the diverse and evolving career opportunities within the outdoor economy. Through the experiences of professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, the conversation will explore how interests in outdoor recreation, sustainability, conservation, design, entrepreneurship, hospitality, and community engagement can translate into meaningful careers.

Panelists will share their own career journeys, highlight emerging opportunities across the outdoor economy, and discuss how innovation is creating new products, services, experiences, and business models. The conversation will also explore careers that create positive impact through conservation, public lands, accessibility, outdoor equity, and community development.

Designed especially for students exploring their professional pathways, the panel will demonstrate that there is no single route into the outdoor economy and encourage students to connect their interests, skills, and values with a wide range of career possibilities.
