Colorado Parks and Wildlife reported that a collared wolf traveled over 1,230 miles between March 25 and April 22 while crossing into Utah—prompting a review of notification procedures with Utah officials. Three of the 15 wolves reintroduced from British Columbia died, raising questions about the release methods used.
A vintage-inspired ice cream parlor opened Wednesday in the historic Northern Hotel building on College Avenue and Walnut Street in Old Town Fort Collins. Owners Nate and Krisanna Frary plan a grand-opening celebration on May 3-4 and will serve 12 signature flavors, including dairy free and gluten friendly options — with waffle cones made in-house — as they expand their local business.
