Canine Parkour Get Together

About this event

Canine parkour is a fun activity to do with your dog. All are welcome, no experience necessary. This being our first canine parkour get-together, here are a few expectations: 1. All dogs will be on leash (the usual for River's Edge and all Loveland Open Lands & Trails). 2. There will be at least one handler for each dog (i.e., if you have 2 dogs, bring a second person). We'll be meeting at the large kiosk in the main parking lot (the east parking lot). It will be helpful if you would please bring your cell phone. We'll have a 5-10 minute orientation at 1pm, then a 40-minute exploration, and then regroup about 1:50pm. You may travel with the group (with good spacing) to various "elements" on site, or you may explore on your own and take a photo of your K9 buddy doing things like "2 paws on" or "over" etc. We will focus on the early basics of canine parkour. No previous parkour activity necessary. Folks who did the introductory sessions will have some extra knowledge, but newbies will be able to catch up.
