ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On New Year's Day, a woman was fatally attacked by a mountain lion on a trail in northern Colorado, and residents recalled earlier encounters with the animal nearby.  CBS Colorado
  • Trails near Crosier Mountain were closed after a mountain lion attack on Jan. 1 left an adult woman fatally injured; officials from CPW, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Estes Park Police, and Glen Haven Fire responded by euthanizing two lions and initiating an investigation.  North Forty News

  • Colorado Parks and Wildlife must submit a full report on its wolf management within 60 days from the December 18 letter or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will take over; the report cites issues including the re-release of a wolf known to kill livestock in Grand County + the state is working to meet the requirements.  The Coloradoan
