Fort Collins campus and community partners will host a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day event at Colorado State University on Monday, Jan.

19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring performances and community engagement to honor his legacy — a day to strengthen local unity.

A new film (Colorado at 150: A Legacy of Caring.

A Future of Purpose) celebrates the giving spirit in Colorado with stories from local foundations including El Pomar and Daniels Fund, showing how community generosity has shaped the state’s history and future.

FBS coaches voted Tuesday to recommend redshirt rule changes that let players, including at CSU, play up to nine games if approved by the NCAA Committee (a move that addresses concerns over eligibility amid increased NIL and transfer requests), potentially altering a seven-year-old rule.

Country artists Miranda Lambert and Bailey Zimmerman will headline concerts during the CSU PBR event at Canvas Stadium, scheduled for July 10 – 12.
