  • Windsor Police urge residents to lock their vehicles and secure valuables following a series of car break-ins last week in Old Town near Main Park—officers ask anyone with information to come forward.  North Forty News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Associated Students Senate at CSU approved legislation to allocate $7,000 to the Lavender Cabinet and nearly $5,000 to support graduation celebrations along with measures for a recovery friendly workplace and budget transparency—efforts aimed at bolstering student support and fiscal openness. The Senate unanimously passed these items and will reconvene on March 26 after spring break.  Colorado State University

SPORTS NEWS

  • On March 14, CSU softball won its Mountain West series opener against UNLV 3-1 after Abby Edwards hit a walk-off two-run homerun in the late seventh inning and Reagan Wick held the Rebels with six strikeouts. The Rams will play San Jose State on Friday at Spartan Softball Complex (game set for 7 p.m.).  Colorado State University
