- ➤ A 19-year-old man accused of killing a teenage girl in Spokane was arrested in Greeley on March 18 — law enforcement agencies including the FBI and local police coordinated his capture, and he now awaits an extradition hearing. North Forty News

- ➤ On March 14th, local music fans gathered at Odell Brewing for the FoCoMX Kick Off Party — the event revealed a lineup of over 400 Colorado-based artists set to perform from April 18th to 19th at nearly 40 venues. Organizers said the kickoff will support local musicians through grants, workshops and mentorship programs. Colorado State University

- ➤ Colorado State University was cited by the USDA for neglecting animal care protocols during a vaccine study when 12 rabbits reached unsafe temperatures that led to six deaths and additional euthanasias — the university said it is reviewing its processes.
