  • The exhibit 'Hilo y Tierra: What We Share' opened at the Lory Student Center Curfman Gallery on March 10 and shows works by Tony Ortega and Daniela Maria Ferreira Cabeza-Vanegas exploring multicultural ideas of home.   • Abigail Rolbiecki was named director of CSU's Institute for Research in the Social Sciences on Feb. 2, and she plans to connect researchers + build capacity through new faculty networks to advance applied social science work.  Colorado State University

  • Today, the Wellington Fire Protection District released its 2025 annual report showing growth + equipment upgrades including a new fire engine and wildland response vehicle across its two stations in northern Larimer County.   • Larimer County officials say avian flu cases are rising as wild birds pass through the area, and pet owners in Fort Collins are urged to keep cats and dogs safe by avoiding contact with wild birds and raw poultry products.  North Forty News

  • CSU track and field began its outdoor season on March 28 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational, where athletes competed against several schools in track events.
