- ➤ A Fort Collins man, Jesse Romero DiGrappa, was arrested on April 3 for three sexual assault cases reported in March—one incident at 2 a.m. on March 16th downtown and another during a dating app meeting on March 23rd—and detectives believe additional victims may be unidentified. North Forty News
- ➤ No DUI NoCo is launching a campaign to warn teens, parents (and community members) about the risks of impaired driving during prom season in Northern Colorado, noting that data show one-third of teen alcohol-related fatalities occur between April and June. - ➤ Fossil Ridge High School teams swept state championships during March 29-30, with its Winter Guard ensemble winning its second straight state title at Denver Coliseum — and its Winter Percussion ensemble earning the scholastic open title at Clune Arena. - ➤ Rocky Mountain National Park is asking visitors to decontaminate gear and report injured bats after the fungus Pseudogymnoascus destructans was detected in bats at the Holzwarth Historic Site area (the first confirmed detection in Grand County). - ➤ Experts say bear spray can help protect against wildlife encounters during outdoor recreation; while attacks are rare, risks may rise when pets are present. Carry your spray in an easy-access place and use a three to four second burst when an animal comes near—practice using it beforehand—to stay safe. The Coloradoan
