  • Operating 24/7 with two facilities in Loveland and Fort Collins, The Landing offers shelter and supportive services to youth aged 15-21 experiencing homelessness, helping them set and pursue goals in education, housing, and employment using trauma-informed design and local school district partnerships.  Colorado State University
  • Poudre Fire Authority reopened Station 11 in Redstone Canyon after a full remodel that added a kitchenette, improved storage & a new bathroom to boost emergency readiness for volunteer firefighters.   • Preston Middle School reclaimed the Science Olympiad state title on April 4 at Colorado Springs, winning its 15th overall championship and advancing to the national tournament on May 22-23 at USC.   • CSU doctoral student Abigail Whittaker received a Critical Language Scholarship to study Swahili in Arusha, Tanzania during an eight-week immersion program this summer, and she was one of 315 recipients chosen from more than 4,500 applicants who will use the experience to advance her conservation research.  Colorado State University
