- ➤ At Colorado State University, at least 16 international students had their visas revoked beginning in late March — many students, staff and faculty feel the university has not provided clear support or information. - ➤ Mandatory evacuations were ordered for residents on the 4300-block of West County Road 54G in LaPorte at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Larimer Office of Emergency Management due to a wildfire, and voluntary evacuations were recommended for the Cache La Poudre River area - Poudre Fire Authority is working to contain a second-alarm wildland fire northwest of Fort Collins and LaPorte while investigating its cause. - ➤ Poudre Fire Authority moved into its new Station 7 at 3016 W. County Road 54G in LaPorte on April 21—A-shift firefighters raised the flag and started operations from the updated facility.
