  • Colorado State University hosted RamFest on April 22 with Saturday Night Live host Marcello Hernandez headlining the comedy show at The Lory Student Center. The sold-out event featured other acts like comedian Matt Richards and writer Asha Ward — the performance left the audience laughing and with sore cheeks — as students enjoyed a break at the end of the spring semester.  Colorado State University

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Preliminary data shows that traffic fatalities in Colorado are down 21% this year and Larimer County saw a drop from 11 to 5 deaths compared to last year—CDOT credits new safety laws and safer driving habits for the improvement.  North Forty News

  • Colorado State first-year Travis Turner won his first 200-meter dash in 21.16 on April 26th at Jack Christiansen Track in Fort Collins — his third college victory and a sign that he will work to lower his time into the 20-second range ahead of the conference championships.  Colorado State University
  • Colorado State wide receiver Tory Horton was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round, marking the first time a CSU receiver was picked since 2019.
