Fort Collins will host a free hazardous waste collection event on May 16 at the streets facility, 625 Ninth St, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents can safely dispose of items such as paint, batteries, cleaning supplies & fluorescent lights to protect the environment.

Home Instead of Northern Colorado is celebrating 25 years of serving older adults in our community with a public event at Odell Brewing Co. on Saturday, May 17 (noon–4 p.m.). Rather than throwing ourselves a party, we're using the milestone to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado — an organization that supports many of the families we've cared for over the past quarter century.
