  • Last week, Fort Collins Police responded to 1,815 calls and made 123 arrests involving a wrong-way DUI crash with intoxicated passengers, a hit-and-run suspect tracked on foot for seven miles, and a road rage incident with a tire iron threat—officers located a three-wheeled vehicle and booked a driver with multiple felony warrants—officials confirmed all detentions occurred without further incident.  North Forty News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • CSU held its first universitywide commencement in Canvas Stadium on May 16 where graduates tossed their caps and heard keynote speaker Eugene Daniels and university officials talk about belonging and leadership plus an honorary degree was awarded to Kim Jordan. Some students expressed mixed feelings about the large event compared to smaller departmental ceremonies.  Colorado State University
