Good morning, Fort Collins.

Between May 17 and 24, Fort Collins Police answered 1,838 calls, arresting 121 people and recovering handguns, drugs, and paraphernalia while checking 15 businesses for alcohol sales, stopping a car with mismatched plates that led to drug arrests, and arresting two suspects in an armed robbery—steps that showed their commitment to public safety.

Fort Collins officials said Ziegler Road will be closed from June 2 to June 7 for an asphalt overlay project between East Harmony and Kechter Roads — drivers must use detours like Corbett Drive and Lady Moon Drive as some local streets will be blocked during the work.

The project is part of the city’s Street Maintenance Program and will follow typical work hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with possible work beyond these times.
