Fort Collins will celebrate Fourth of July on July 4 at City Park with a 5K, food trucks, live music, fireworks, and historical displays (including reenactors and interactive activities) to honor America’s 250th and Colorado’s 150th birthdays.
City Park’s interior streets will close at 11 p.m.

More than 1,000 Fort Collins residents answered a Coloradoan poll with 55% favoring the Drake Station for the future passenger rail station.
The rail district plans to use the site for its upcoming line, citing a central location, connections to trails + transit, and lower costs.
A proposed rail stop at Burnham Yard is planned as part of the Broncos stadium development to provide special-event service and reduce highway congestion from Fort Collins and other communities.
Funding for the southern segment of the Colorado Connector awaits voter approval while service could begin by 2032.
Fort Collins Police Services completed a care-focused renovation at its Timberline Road facility to create a workspace for the Mental Health Response Team & Homeless Outreach and Proactive Engagement team, enhancing support for vulnerable residents.
