  • Fort Collins will host its 37th Annual Summer Bike to Work Day on June 25 with over 90 stations offered by local businesses; morning events run (6:30-9:30 a.m.) and afternoon sessions take place (4-6 p.m.). The event will offer free breakfast, bike repair support, and a chance for all riders to travel safely on sustainable routes.  City of Fort Collins

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Mud and rock spilled over Highway 6 over the weekend, burying both lanes under an estimated 15 to 20 feet of debris at Loveland Pass—road crews have not provided a timeline to clear the blockage and reopen the road.  CBS Colorado

  • A man was hospitalized after police shot him late Sunday night in the East Dale neighborhood of Fort Collins—police provided no further details.  CBS Colorado

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold closed off access to the state’s online election database TRACER over the weekend after politically motivated shootings in Minnesota raised concerns over private data. The website will remain down for days so officials can request redaction of personal addresses.  CBS Colorado
  • The Fort Collins Loveland Water District is starting a project to tap an aquifer 800 feet underground in far-north Weld County to secure more drinking water for future growth—supporting over 10,000 consumers. It is partnering with Front Range H20 Transfer, LLC—with access expected by spring 2029.  CBS Colorado
