On Sunday, Jun. 21, teams of military members, first responders, and families lost to impaired driving raced in a relay at Kart Racing for Heroes to honor service and promote safe alternatives to alcohol; Craig Mansfield organized the event (his son died in 2004) to show community support and remembrance.

Platte River Power Authority has selected EnergyHub to develop a virtual power plant linking smart thermostats to support renewable energy.
