CSU's Trial Gardens in Fort Collins will host a free Public Evaluation Day on Aug.

2 from (9 a.m. to noon) at 1401 Remington St., where visitors can vote on their favorite plants among more than 1,000 annual and 300 perennial entries. Short tours will be offered (at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.) to showcase the gardens at peak bloom and mark the 30th anniversary of the Wave Petunia.

On July 31, the CSU Flower Trial Gardens at 1401 Remington St. in Fort Collins showcased a colorful display of flowers that drew local visitors.
