Advocates say the Skip the Stuff bill (SB26-146), which would have required restaurants and delivery services to ask before adding single-use serviceware to orders, was vetoed due to local control concerns and may be reintroduced in the next session as stakeholders in Fort Collins continue to watch state decisions.
The Colorado Department of Transportation released its 2026 Driving Behavior Report showing declines in distracted & impaired driving but that speeding remains common; officials say the report will guide future traffic safety efforts across all 64 counties.
