🚧 Accidents
A grass fire east of I-25 forced mandatory evacuations on Sept.
2, causing minor damage to a hay barn and three vehicles near Arbee Lane between Prospect and Harmony Roads, and crews later lifted the evacuations after mopping up the estimated three to five acre fire.

On Aug. 31, locals gathered at The Lyric outdoor screen for an exclusive screening of 'The Weight' featuring Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe.
The film will hit theaters on Sept. 18 (after its Sundance debut) as filmmakers shared behind-the-scenes insights.

CSU named Montez Butts as the new executive director of the Lory Student Center after Mike Ellis retired following 27 years of service.
