- ➤ Fort Collins will hold its 10th annual Open Streets event on Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Lady Moon Drive—closing the street to cars for a free day of live music, art, fitness classes, and food trucks—to give locals a chance to enjoy a car-free space. City of Fort Collins

- ➤ Edison’s Ice Cream opened at the corner of North College and Walnut, replacing a Starbucks beneath the historic Northern Hotel, and quickly became a hit for its gluten-free and nondairy flavors following its May grand opening and July 21 launch — the owner now plans to open a new downtown Greeley location with an expected April opening. - ➤ CSU students will spend eight days at Anthony’s Key Resort in Roatan, Honduras—studying bottlenose dolphin behavior, communication, and care—and learn local marine conservation from Professor Kanatous and Dudzinski. Colorado State University
