  • Authorities confirmed Monday that a body was recovered at Horsetooth Reservoir after a search for a missing paddleboarder reported near Satanka Cove (the reservoir and adjacent trails later reopened) while the Larimer County Coroner’s Office prepares to release further details.  North Forty News

  • The Fort Collins restaurant Panino’s rebranded as Limonata by Panino’s and moved to the 1002 S. College Ave building on July 13 — a site that formerly housed The Post Chicken & Beer. The owners, John and Marie Beck, updated their menu with coastal Italian dishes, rehired many of their old staff, and recently started daily happy hour specials.  Colorado State University

  • Activist Charlie Kirk was shot at a speaking event for Turning Point USA at Utah Valley University when a bullet hit his neck — campus police confirm a single shot was fired and no suspect is in custody, leaving his planned visit to Colorado State University uncertain.  Colorado State University

  • CSU said it continues to follow federal guidelines on visa issues but did not provide new details on how immigration policies affect students.   • Fort Collins residents will see a 3% increase in trash bills starting Sept 30 as Republic Services raises fees—service rates will rise by 31 cents to $3.45 per month while the administration fee stays the same.
