- ➤ The Colorado State volleyball team beat Nevada three to zero (25 to 21, 25 to 21, 25 to 13) on Saturday in a strong home win after a loss to Wyoming. The team celebrated its 50th anniversary and will travel to Albuquerque to face New Mexico on Oct. 2. Colorado State University
- ➤ Colorado State football played against Washington State yesterday with new starting quarterback Jackson Brousseau leading the team — the Rams scored first on a 50-yard field goal by Isaiah Hankins before Washington State took an early lead with a touchdown pass from Zevi Eckhaus. - ➤ At the fourth annual Canvas Community Classic on Friday night, Fossil Ridge and Fort Collins high schools played a close game where FCHS won 28-21 following a key pick-six by senior Kaden Souders—while Wellington beat Timnath 27-15 in a spirited matchup.
