Timnath is planning a new community recreation center funded partly by a 1.25% sales tax on the November 4 ballot.
If Ballot Issue 3A passes, the tax—estimated to bring in $9 million annually until 2056—will combine with developer fees to help cover the $98 million cost.

CSU dive coach Seth O’Dea was named two weeks before preseason started to lead a rebuilding effort for the team that has struggled in past seasons.
