- ➤ Glacier View Fire Protection District hosted a two-part S212 Chainsaw Training course that taught local volunteers and firefighters essential wildfire mitigation and safety skills through classroom sessions on October 4–5 and field exercises on October 11–12—funded by a Larimer County OEM grant. Four CWPP team members along with fire crews from Rist Canyon and Poudre Canyon will receive certification to help reduce wildfire risks in the area. North Forty News
