  • Colorado Public Radio broadcast Colorado Matters live from CSU on Nov 3 in the Andrew G. Clark Building where host Ryan Warner demonstrated radio production to students and faculty—explaining complex setup and backup plans for the portable equipment. The broadcast also featured interviews from Fort Collins and nearby cities to highlight local issues.  Colorado State University

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On May 25th, 2024, researchers at CSU measured high sulfur emissions from Cosmo, a corpse flower whose foul odor resembled that near small landfills—findings later celebrated at a reception on Oct. 28th, 2024 that featured a mural of the flower’s life cycle.  Colorado State University

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Drivers in Fort Collins will face road closures at the intersection of East Drake Road and South Lemay Avenue on November 8 and 9 as city crews repair asphalt crosswalks — detours will reroute southbound Lemay to East Prospect, northbound Lemay to East Horsetooth, westbound Drake to South Timberline and eastbound Drake to South College.  North Forty News
