- ➤ The Associated Students at CSU ended a busy fall semester on Dec. 3 after passing more than 20 pieces of legislation and breaking event attendance records to boost student support on campus. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Colorado's first winter storm hit Wednesday morning, dropping 3–6 inches along I-25 and foothills before snow ended in Fort Collins by noon; patchy ice later made roads slick. CBS Colorado
- ➤ A heavy snowstorm hit the Front Range Wednesday — leaving icy roads and dangerous driving conditions for Fort Collins commuters as temperatures plummeted late into the night. CBS Colorado
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fort Collins residents should not leave their vehicles running unattended to warm up because city code and state law impose a $60 fine if the engine runs for five minutes or more, and although state law offers a remote start exception (if the key is kept away), the city code does not.
